Nivedita Ghosh said Milo's death has crushed the family

Delhi couple’s pet boarding nightmare: the dog was dragged behind the bike and found dead Nivedita Ghosh stated that Milo’s death has devastated the family. New Delhi: Before flying to Vadodara to meet their son, an elderly couple in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar placed their dog at a pet boarding facility in Noida. They had no idea that this would be the final time they saw their pet. Milo, the dog, has died, and a horrifying video of two bikers dragging him by the leash will haunt the family forever. Nivedita Ghosh has filed a police complaint against Swati Sharma, the owner of Paw’s Point Pet Boarding, alleging negligence. The Ghosh family claims that the day before they returned to Delhi,

The family arrived in Noida’s Sector 119, where Milo went missing, and began searching. When they were unable to locate him, they filed a police report. An FIR was launched against Ms Sharma under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. When locals were questioned and CCTV footage from the area was discovered, a terrifying video emerged. It featured two people on a bike dragging Milo by a leash. The family claims that one of them works at the pet boarding facility. They claim Milo was made to run alongside the bike. At some time, the dog broke free and fled. The following day, he was discovered dead, most likely as a result of a traffic collision.

The family is devastated and has accused their animal boarding of negligence that triggered Milo’s death. “This crushed us and a family. Milo was kicked up, and carried by a chain on a busy road whilst two men were on the bike. We really cannot come to grips with what transpired. We are devastated, absolutely broken. We left him in their care, expecting them to keep him safe, and we discovered he died. Paw’s Point charges ₹600 per day to care for our beloved pets. They say Milo leaped out of a car. Which can a dog do that? There was no car; he was dragged by the bike. Pictures of Milo have surfaced on social media, with many pet parents and animal welfare organizations calling for harsh punishment against the pet boarding facility.

When NDTV contacted Paw’s Point owner Swati Sharma, she disputed that the two people on the bike seen carrying the dog by the leash were pet boarding employees. “I was driving the dog back from grooming. I failed to lock the car, and the dog rolled into the windows and hopped out. I knew those two people and requested them to catch him. They did. Yes, one of them beat it up, but what would he have done if the dog had been aggressive? Then the dog fled. We were with the family while they searched for it.
