A businessman on a morning walk in Delhi’s Farsh Bazar area was gunned killed by two bike-borne assailants early Saturday, according to Delhi Police. Meanwhile, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to X, blaming Union Minister Amit Shah for the atrocities in the National Capital.
According to police, Sunil Jain, 52, who managed a utensil company, was going home on his two-wheeler at about 7 a.m. when he was attacked on 60 Feet Road near Swarn Cinema in Shahdara.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Prashanth Gautam stated, “Jain was returning from his walk at the Yamuna Sports Complex when he was shot. The crime squad has arrived, and further investigation is ongoing.
The crime occurred while two other killings were recorded in the National Capital during nine hours. A guy was stabbed after a quarrel in Govindpuri around midnight, and a 22-year-old strangled his mother to death at about 8.30 a.m. in Delhi’s Khayala district, according to police.
Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and former chief minister of Delhi, blamed the city’s crime rate on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Amit Shahji has ruined Delhi. He’s transformed Delhi into a jungle raj. People everywhere are living in horror. The BJP is no longer capable of handling the peace and order situation in Delhi. The people of Delhi will have to get together and raise their voices,” Kejriwal claimed.
