In Trilokpuri, Delhi, a group of assailants shot at a 32-year-old male, purportedly because of a long-standing animosity between their families. Two of the three shooters, Rohit and Rahul, have been taken into custody by the police. An attempt is being made to apprehend Sunil, also known as Golu, another suspect who was once Ravi’s competitor.
The victim, Ravi Yadav, was warming his hands over a bonfire close to his house in the Trilokpuri neighborhood on the intervening nights of Wednesday and Thursday, according to the police. Ravi was taken to Max Hospital in severe condition after suffering five bullet wounds. He is still in a severe condition.
According to police investigations, there has been a familial quarrel between Ravi’s and Golu’s families for ten years, and there have previously been multiple cases filed against them. Police said that Virender Yadav’s numerous complaints and RTIs caused Golu’s brother, Vipin, to lose his job recently.
They stated that attorneys for both families engaged in a heated argument over ongoing disagreements at Karkardooma Court on Wednesday. CCTV footage from the region is being examined to identify and track down the perpetrators of an attempted murder case. The police inquiry is still ongoing.
